T-Bone Walker-Dirty Mistreater

Dirty Mistreater is a posthumous compilation album that pays tribute to the legendary blues guitarist and singer T-Bone Walker, one of the founding fathers of electric blues. Released in 1973 by BluesWay, a subsidiary of ABC Records, this album showcases some of Walker’s most evocative recordings from the later part of his career. The collection brings together original songs recorded in the 1960s, which had previously appeared on other BluesWay LPs.

T-Bone Walker, born Aaron Thibeaux Walker, was among the first to make the electric guitar a lead instrument in the blues, and his smooth, jazz-influenced style profoundly influenced B.B. King, Chuck Berry, and many others.
