A vintage 1970s Phoenix Records pressing of Rare Beatles, an unofficial compilation featuring early Hamburg-era recordings from the dawn of Beatlemania. These performances capture the Beatles in 1961–1962 as a raw, energetic club band, performing live rock & roll staples such as “Long Tall Sally,” “Be-Bop-A-Lula,” “Hallelujah I Love Her So,” “Kansas City/Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey,” and more.
This LP is part of the wave of grey-market Beatles albums released during the 1970s, offering fans access to pre-EMI material that wasn’t included in the official Capitol or Parlophone catalog. A fun collectible for Beatles completists and vinyl hunters.
